DEFRAGMENTATION

Your PC is slow because of different problems and one of the most common issues to slow down your PC is the fragments of individual files placed in the disk. The heavier a Disk is fragmented, the more time it takes to load. Defragmenting your hard drive is one of the most important things which will give you extra space in your Hard Drive and plays a vital role in boosting your PC by removing the fragments of individual files. I suggest you to defragment you PC after every month
HOW TO DEFRAGMENT HARD DRIVE
Many of the PC users don’t know how to defragment the Hard drive, so I am going to tell you this easy process.
  1. Open the properties of your disk drive like LOCAL DISK (D;) is a drive you want to defragment. So go to the properties of LOCAL DISK (D;).
  2. Now in the properties window you will probably see a Tools tab, click it and otimize your disk to run the process.
Note: Apply the Same process with all the drives.

REMOVE BROKEN SHORTCUTS

There are many broken shortcuts present in your drive which should be slowing your PC, you should delete these shortcuts.
Broken shortcuts are created whenever you remove a program and its shortcuts are still saved somewhere on desktop or else.
Removal of shortcuts and Emptying the Recycle Bin is one of the easy and simple way to speed up your PC.

UNINSTALL UNNECESSARY FILES

The files you don’t need should be deleted, like if you are a gamer and have lots of games. If you complete one game and you don’t have time to play the previous game because you have more other games, then previous games should be deleted.
Your hard drive is a storage device and the data affects the performance. More and more data will probably make your PC heavy and slow. Lighter PC are always faster so I suggest you not to save unnecessary files.

ALWAYS USE UNINSTALL OR CHANGE A PROGRAM TO REMOVE SOFTWARE AND GAMES

A very Simple and important task is to delete the files using uninstall or change a programoption. Never delete the software and games by simply pressing the delete button on the file, it will only delete few files.
When Application is installed on your computer it implements on your hard drive completely at many places. Like if you install a game it will be installed on the Specific drive but it also contains few files in your window folder and also in your documents folder. Deleting the program by just simply deleting the file will never remove it completely from the disk; few of the files will probably still live in your hard drive.
Uninstall or Change a program will delete the application completely where ever it is implemented. So I prefer you this way because it will maintain the speed of your PC.

USE ONLY ONE ANTIVIRUS

The use of Antivirus is good and it will remove the virus which affects the performance of your computer.
But the antivirus program is bit heavy and consumes lots of speed, so keeping one light antivirus is better but keeping more than one antivirus programs will demolish your computer’s speed.
NOTE: Removal of antivirus program after the scan for virus can be helpful. Reinstall the program after every two weeks and perform a scan and then delete the program. This process consumes a bit time but can be very helpful in keeping your PC high in speed.
